This project was planned by the Facilities Division. J.B.D. Construction, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide construction management services. The scope of work provided for new metal playcourt canopies at FishHawk Creek, Town & Country, and West Tampa Elementary Schools.

Change Order No. 2 provides a time extension of 249 calendar days for a delay in construction of the FishHawk Creek Canopy, requested by District staff to avoid an unnecessary portable relocation. Change Order No. 3 provides a credit for the return of unused contingency funds. The project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and Board acceptance is recommended.

Expenditures were funded as follows: $124,598 (from FishHawk Creek's contribution), $50,000 (from Millage Matching Funds); $157,000 (from Hillsborough County), $12,723 (from Millage Funds) for Town & Country; and $119,723 (from West Tampa's contribution), $50,000 (from Millage Matching Funds).
