Recognition of Winners of the High School Bullying Prevention Campaign (Student Services and Federal Programs Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

During December and January, high school students across the district participated in a campaign to create anti-bullying materials. Numerous posters were submitted, as well as video vignettes. Kristin Spero, a student from Steinbrenner High School, was recognized for her bullying prevention poster. A team of students from Durant High School (Justin Diaz, Leslie Knopp, Courtney Newsome, Ulysses Valdez, Dalton Wilkerson, and Megan Yong) was recognized for their video “If You Don’t, Who Will?” The poster and video will be reproduced and provided to all high schools to incorporate in to their bullying prevention activities.
