Approve Modifications to the Renewal Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc.(TBWA), 2010/2011 (Workforce and Continuing Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Renewal Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc. was approved on August 8, 2006. We request approval of modifications to this agreement as follows:
- Modification Number 9 to the Training Vendor Agreement assigns Arbor E&T as the agent for TBWA for execution and payment processing.
- Modification Number 10 to the Training Vendor Agreement provides an updated schedule of programs and training costs for eligible adults sponsored by WorkForce Investment Act (WIA) funding.
This educational partnership with TBWA allows adults to access workforce education programs funded by federal WIA funds. During the 2009/2010 school year, 256 WIA-sponsored students enrolled in workforce education programs at the school district’s technical center sites.
