Recognition of Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bucs) and Glazer Family Foundation for numerous contributions to Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) students and faculty (Student Services and Federal Programs Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

During the 2009/2010 school year, The Glazer Family Foundation, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have greatly impacted HCPS students and faculty. There are numerous indicators of support the Glazer Family and the Bucs have done this school term to show their partnership with HCPS.

  • Over 60 Students who failed vision exams twice, received prescription and eye glasses and five students received corrective surgery
  • Tickets to Tampa Bay Buccaneer games for bus drivers
  • Tickets to Tampa Bay Buccaneer game for students earning principal's honor roll
  • Purchased cover for play court at Lavoy
  • Purchased cover for play court at Tampa Bay Boulevard
  • Awarded $10,000 high school graduate scholarships
  • Provided funds for a private play
  • Head Coach, Raheem Morris, did a segment in attributes of good citizenship for middle school students.

    The Bucs and the Glazer Foundation have been huge supporters of the students, teachers, and staff to help the academic goals in Hillsborough County Public Schools.
