Suncoast for Kids Foundation Scholarship Recipient Recognition
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Suncoast for Kids Foundation Scholarship was made possible due to a donation from the Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, which is facilitated by Mary Tlachac, to the Education Foundation.
This scholarship provides current support personnel the funding necessary to continue their educational goals and become highly qualified Hillsborough County Public Schools teachers. In addition, this scholarship gives the district the ability to “grow our own” teachers and hire from within the school system.
There are 25 recipients: Brenda Adams, Louisa Allen, Brea Grecia-Astacio, Giovanna Castillo, Maria Chavez, Demetria Clark, Daisy Frieri, Terrie Green, Gwendolyn Houston, Susan Hunt, Patricia E. Johnson, Eva Medina, Marycarmen Pastoriza, Linda A. Smith, Cristina Vega, Walter Gibbons, Christopher Hampton, Jamie Herrmann, Annette James, Maggie LaLone, Angela Leavens, Xiomara Previti, Debora Torres, Constance Walker, and Derrick Wilson.
