Approve Restructuring of Virtual Instruction (Curriculum & Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In an effort to maximize the educational opportunities for all students through virtual instruction, the Curriculum and Instruction Division, in conjunction with the Administration and Information Technology Divisions, are reengineering the organizational structure of several programs/departments and adjusting various job responsibilities.

* Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce, * Align the performance management system with the district’s priorities, * Provide for a district-wide succession planning structure and visible career ladder, * Demonstrate best financial practices
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The reorganization detailed in this item will result in annual savings of $97,852.26. Additional savings based on increased opportunities for virtual instruction in our non-traditional programs are expected.
