This bid was prepared at the request of the Sites and Utilities Department to establish fixed pricing for the maintenance and repair of gymnasium and stage flooring. This bid may be renewed in four one-year increments subject to negotiations. Award of this contract shall be to the lowest bidder as specified in the bid, and using the second lowest bidder as an alternate, if needed. Funds of approximately $200,000 will be available in the Sites and Utilities Department budget for the maintenance and repair of gymnasium and stage flooring. Benchmark comparisons of items 19 through 30 will result in a cost savings of $27,387.

Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
