Accept the Lowest and Best Bid Submitted by Contrax Furnishings, LLC - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #10047-EST Chairs for High Stakes Testing Lab Project (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This bid was prepared at the request of the Customer Service and Support Department to establish fixed pricing for chairs for the High Stakes Testing Lab Project. As a result of bidding for this project, instead of holding last year's pricing, we were able to save over $7,000. Award of this contract shall be to the lowest bidder for the line item, as specified in the bid. This recommendation has been reviewed by the Manager of Customer Service and Support. A more detailed review of specifications can be obtained by contacting the Procurement Department.

Funds of approximately $137,000 will be available in Customer Service and Support Department budget, as needed.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
