SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services for installation, relocation, and removal of relocatable facilities (portables and modulars). Pursuant to these appointments, the Board subsequently approved separate guaranteed maximum price (GMP) agreements for several site-specific portable and modular projects, and an additional GMP for miscellaneous relocatable facilities requirements at multiple sites (see Attachment A for a list of the projects).
Staff has determined that the referenced projects are finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents, and Board acceptance is recommended.
