Approve the Amended 2010/2011 Student Calendar

As a result of the May 4, 2010, School Board Meeting, each Calendar Committee member was contacted to determine their recommendation to the School Board. The consensus remains consistent with the decision made at the April 21, 2010, Calendar Committee meeting, to recommend to the School Board the instructionally based 2010/2011 School Calendar #1. This calendar replicates the current 2010/2011 school calendar with a few exceptions. Variations to the calendar may occur in the future as mandated by statutory requirements. As always, the committee consisted of representatives from all levels of administration, non-instructional personnel, Classroom Teachers Association, School Employees Federation, parents, community members and high school students.

Approval of the school calendar has no monetary impact to the district.
