Approve the Recommendation Regarding the Purchase of Consulting Services for Teacher Incentive Funds (TIF) from Convergence Consulting Group, Inc. (Sole-Source Provider) (Business Division)

Convergence Consulting Group (CCG) has been the software consultant team assigned to develop the "Teacher Incentive Fund" (TIF) Data Management System and Teacher Summary Worksheet since early 2008. CCG works directly with the lead Information Services and Human Resource Departments on the TIF project. CCG is a local business, paid on a time and material basis, and is an approved supplier from the Information Technology Staffing solicitation #0009090-RFP-12. As the system architect, it is our estimation they are the only supplier who possesses the unique knowledge and capability to continue this project.

This project is primarily funded through the TIF Grant, which expires June 30, 2012.
