SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Renovation at
Trapnell Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On April 21, 2008, the Board appointed The Architectural Practice, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities will include painting, landscaping, fencing, and limited electrical work. Project completion is scheduled for August 13, 2010.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Construction cost is warranted at $283,914. The construction budget is $300,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Capital Outlay and Debt Service (CO & DS).
