EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This bid was prepared at the request of the Sites and Utilities Department to establish fixed pricing for the purchase and repair of refuse containers. Although we only received one response on this bid, the new proposed pricing for the purchase of dumpsters will save the district approximately 27%, or $9,260, during the first year. This recommendation has been reviewed by the Sites and Utilities Department Manager. A more detailed review of the specifications can be obtained by contacting the Procurement Department.
The initial term of this contract will be for one year, with four one-year renewals, subject to negotiations and mutual agreement.
The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement, per the terms of the specifications.
