SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve the Authorization of the Chief Facilities Officer to Sign Owner-Developer Off-Site Warranty Agreement and Off-Site Warranty Bond for Gallagher Road Improvements

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Road improvements to Gallagher Road providing safe access to Strawberry Crest High School and Bailey Elementary School were constructed by Hillsborough County Public Schools and deemed complete by Hillsborough County in April 2010. The School Board previously approved the dedication of right-of-way to Hillsborough County in support of the improvements in March, 2010. The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners are now scheduled to approve the dedication of the subject road improvements to the County on September 14, 2010. The request to the Board is to authorize the Chief Facilities Officer to sign the agreements and bonds required by Hillsborough County to execute the dedication.

A fee of $1,404.00 for the Warranty Bond was previously paid by the Facilities Division.
