Contract with U.S. Foodservice, Inc. Utilizing the Main Line Food Contract with the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida for the Purchase of Cheese and Pepperoni Pizzas (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Procurement has the responsibility to initiate cost saving wherever possible. Applicable Florida Department of Education and district policy allows purchases from contracts awarded by other governmental agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services (DMS), etc., at or below specified prices. This practice reduces procurement administrative costs and can provide lower prices for large agencies' volume.
Student Nutrition will be utilizing the School Board of Pinellas County agreement to test frozen pizza.
