SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Negotiated Economic Proposal, Contract Language Changes, and Memorandums of Understanding with the Hillsborough School Employees Federation (HSEF).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A Salary Agreement (Attachment A) has been reached with the HSEF retroactive to July 1, 2010. Changes in language to the HSEF contract (Attachment B) and the following Memorandums of Understanding (Attachment C) have been agreed upon:
  • Transportation Reorganization Review Committee
  • Procedural Process and Mitigation
  • Transportation Procedures for Kindergarten Bus Students 2010-2011
  • Renegotiation of Economic Issues
  • Bus Driver Shift Absence
  • ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

    * Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce

    FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

    Provide the following salary adjustment:
  • Salary: $1,091,089
  • Fingerprinting: $36,750
  • Insurance: $22,029,380
  • Uniforms: $870,000
