Adopt a Proclamation Declaring October 18 - 22, 2010, "School Bus Safety Week"
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The National Association of Pupil Transportation School Bus Safety Week is October 18 - 22, 2010. The theme, "Cross In View, It's The Right Thing To Do," is derived from last year's poster contest. Schools across the district and country have been invited to participate in this year's poster contest and remind students, bus drivers, and motorists of their roles in assuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

* Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
