SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement for Property Across from B.C. Graham Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

District staff identified the opportunity to purchase additional property at 2913 North Nevada Avenue in Tampa. This property is located across North Nevada Street from the school and is adjacent to existing District owned lands. The school campus is currently comprised of 4.15 acres +/- and this additional property will add 7,560 square feet or .16 acre +/- to be used for future expansion.

The property appraised at $137,000 and the District has made a successful offer at $130,000. The District will not be responsible for any brokerage commission on this acquisition.

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The $130,000 plus closing costs will be derived from 2 Mill Funds.
