Approve Agreements for Technical Services for Developing Subject-Area Tests for the End-of-Course Clearinghouse - October 3-31, 2007 - $26,100 (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Subject-area tests are needed to enhance the Merit Award Program (MAP) and the End-of-Course Clearinghouse. These exams will be pre- and post-tests used for Semester 1 and Semester 2. Teachers identified by the appropriate supervisors will write the tests. Each test will be administered at the appropriate time, analyzed, and revised if needed. All test development will be completed by October 31, 2007. Agreements for Technical Services have been prepared for the teachers and subjects on the attached list.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 5: The district will eliminate the FCAT achievement gap by a minimum of 10 percentage points as reported by the No Child Left Behind.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds of $26,100 are included in the End-of-Course Clearinghouse Project #1149. The majority of teachers are being paid a flat fee of $500 for developing their specific tests.
EVALUATION
The tests will be delivered according to the agreements.
