Approve Change Order No. 7 in the Credit Amount of $983,444.51 and Change Order No. 8 in the Amount of $21,662.87 Extra for the
Ancillary Office Building, New Facility

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The existing Instructional Services Center had exceeded its useful life and was demolished to allow construction of a two-story 100,000 square foot office building. On March 8, 2005, the Board appointed the design-build firm of R.R. Simmons Construction Corporation to provide design and construction management services for the building shell of the replacement facility. On June 13, 2006, the Board approved the guaranteed maximum price for the project.

Change Order No. 7 provides a credit for project savings. Change Order No. 8 provides an adjustment to the Direct Purchase Program.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
