SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project was planned by the engineering firm of John J. McKenna Architect, P.A. On June 6, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the single qualified bidder, Olympic Painting Contracting, Inc. The scope of work provided for painting and scupper repair.
Change Order No. 1 provides for caulking and painting concrete column base plate footers. Change Order No. 2 provides for credit of water sealant and final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 3 provides for correction of efflorescence at windows which includes a time extension for the additional work.
The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
