EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project was planned by the engineering firm of Kisinger Campo and Associates. On October 24, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the single qualified bidder, All American Tracks Corporation. The scope of work provided for resurfacing the tracks with rubberized material at Jefferson and King High Schools and installation of a new all-weather rubberized track surface at Spoto High School. The Board previously approved an interlocal agreement with Hillsborough County providing for payment of $210,000 by the County for the resurfacing, in exchange for limited use of these tracks by the County.
Change Order No. 1 provides for resurfacing an additional pole vault runway at Jefferson High School. Change Order No. 2 increases the project duration by 30 calendar days due to the delay caused by the Spoto High School track reconstruction.
The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
