SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project was planned by the engineering firm of Long & Associates. On November 21, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Himes Electric Company, Inc. The scope of work provided for furnishing and installing replacement field lighting for the baseball field.
Change Order No. 1 provides for upgrading electrical service to the pressbox. Included is a time extension for the additional work. Change Order No. 2 provides for a restocking credit for returned items as a result of Change Order No. 1. Change Order No. 3 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.
The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
