SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the engineering firm of Weber and Tinnen, PA. The scope of work provides for exterior wall waterproofing and restoration. Alternate No. 1 includes the cleaning, weatherproofing and masonry sealing of the front entrance walls. Alternate No. 2 includes cleaning the interior and exterior of the windows when the weatherproofing is complete.
The project was advertised and four bids were received (see attachment). Award of a contract for the base bid items and both alternates to the low bidder, SPC Construction Group, is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for April 12, 2008.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $255,674 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $255,674.
