EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project is being planned by the architectural firm of Fleischman Garcia Architects. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Allstate Construction, Inc.
The renovation will provide required walkway lighting; signage, restroom, plumbing fixture, and door hardware upgrades for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA); heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system replacement at selected buildings; exhaust fan replacements throughout the school; interior painting; electrical equipment and distribution system replacements; lighting upgrades; new exterior doors; new fire alarm and telephone systems; replacement of most site fencing; and reroofing and brick repointing on selected buildings. Additionally, the Administrative Suite will be reconfigured for improved operations, and Student Dining will be expanded to include a multipurpose room with stage and a Faculty Dining space. Project completion is scheduled for August 30, 2008.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish a cost for the facility.
