SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed Harvard Jolly, Inc. and The A.D. Morgan Corporation to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for an additional 10 classrooms. These classrooms are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. Project completion is scheduled for August 4, 2008.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the facility.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $1,738,643, which includes $95,024 for extraordinary conditions (extended electrical runs, low voltage connections and sidewalk, and additional window area). The construction budget is $1,738,700. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids.
