Year-End Financial Calendars for Use by All School and District Level Finance Liaisons <(Business Division)

The attached year-end Financial Calendars are very useful communication tools that have been utilized successfully over the past ten years. The goal of the Business Division is to have it in the hands of administrators, principals, bookkeepers and secretaries no later than March 1st of each year. As a planning tool, the year-end calendar provides valuable information regarding Accounts Payable check writes, warehouse closure for inventory, project end dates, and various other items. The Budget Department compiled input from many departments, (i.e. warehouse, instructional materials and technology) regarding deadline dates for the upcoming months. The attached calendar months were emailed to all administrators, principals, bookkeepers and secretaries on February 11, 2008, and will be printed in the Administrative Bulletin every week for the next four weeks.
