On September 7, 2004, the Board appointed Howard & Associates Architects, P.A. and Allstate Construction Inc. to provide design and construction management services for classroom additions at Cannella, McKitrick, Forest Hills, Lake Magdalene, and Mort Elementary Schools. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the following additions: 14 classrooms at Cannella, 18 classrooms at McKitrick, 18 classrooms at Forest Hills, 16 classrooms at Lake Magdalene, and 12 classrooms at Mort.

This change order provides credits for unused contingency funds and project savings.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
