EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
During the last 29 years, the Hillsborough County School District has participated in the annual multi-agency Mass Casualty Drill. The purpose of this drill is to test the response capabilities of the County’s emergency resources. In previous years, the School District provided school buses and student volunteers to be involved in mock emergencies such as tornadoes, fires, explosions, radioactive hazardous spills and chemical spills. This year, Chamberlain High School students and staff volunteers will be involved in a mock airplane crash. This drill will involve local and federal personnel and agencies along with approximately 700 Chamberlain High School students and staff volunteers, and approximately 25 school buses.
