SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On September 7, 2004, the Board appointed Howard & Associates Architects, P.A. and Allstate Construction Inc. to provide design and construction management services for classroom additions at Cannella, Forest Hills, Lake Magdalene, McKitrick, and Mort Elementary Schools. The scope of work provides for the following additions: 14 classrooms at Cannella, 18 classrooms at Forest Hills, 16 classrooms at Lake Magdalene, 18 classrooms at McKitrick, and 12 classrooms at Mort. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements.
This change order provides for final reconciliation of the Owner Controlled Insurance Program.
The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
