SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Amendments to the Universal Route Standards in the Transportation Department.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Transportation Department will present amendments to the universal route standards. The goal of these amendments is to further assist in the efficient use of HCPS school buses. These amendments fall in line with recommendations made by MPS. Some of the amendment items are presently in place, albeit as pilot programs and the remainder will be launched in August, 2008. These amendments touch upon such matters as bus passes, processing changes and conceptual strategies.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
These amendments are commensurate with the Transportation Reorganization Plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
EVALUATION
The Transportation Department will evaluate and improve the standards as part of the continuous improvement process.
