Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $6,186.00 Extra and a Time Extension of 55 Calendar Days, and Acceptance of Project for Gymnasium Lighting Project at
Robinson High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The engineering firm of Anston-Greenlees, Inc., was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On July 17, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, JDP Electric, Inc. The scope of work provides for the demolition and replacement of the gymnasium lighting system at Robinson High School.

Change Order No. 1 provides for an increase in the contract amount and duration to accommodate extra work associated with a change in the usage schedule of the gym, as required by the Robinson High School administration.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
