Approve Modifications to Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc., 2008/2009 (Adult Technical Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the following Modifications to Training Vendor Agreement Contract #655 with Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc.:
- Modification Number 5 to the Training Vendor Agreement which provides an updated schedule of programs and training costs for eligible adults sponsored by Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding.
- Modification Number 6 to Training Vendor Agreement which renews the agreement term for another year. The effective date of this renewal is July 1, 2008, through June 30, 2009.
This educational partnership with Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc. allows adults to access career, technical, and adult education programs funded by federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds at Aparicio-Levy, Brewster, Erwin, and Learey Technical Centers; Tampa Bay Technical Evening School; and Adult and Community Education Centers throughout the county.

WIA funds flow through the Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, Inc. to provide vouchers to our adult schools for tuition, books, fees, uniforms, and related supportive services for WIA sponsored students attending training programs listed in this contract.
