Approve the Proposed Bell Times for the 2008-2009 School Year (Attachment Revised)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Each year, bell times are evaluated to ensure that students are being served appropriately in the classroom and efficiently with bus services. Attached are the proposed school bell times for School Board approval. This bell schedule proposal has been approved through the Division of Information and Technology and the Division of Administration.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
A standardized bell schedule is a goal of the Transportation Reorganization Plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
There is no monetary impact to the District.
EVALUATION
The Transportation Department continues to evaluate the impact and efficacy of routing and planning changes. Standard bell schedules play an important role in those changes.
