EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The engineering firm of Weber and Tinnen, P.A., was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On December 11, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, SPC Construction Group. The scope of work provides for weatherproofing and masonry restoration on various buildings at Blake Magnet High School.
Change Order No. 1 provides for completion of additional waterproofing and restoration requirements discovered during the project, and includes a credit for use of a protective coating on the front entrance wall in lieu of new metal coping.
