SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Net Credit Amount of $66,343.48 and Acceptance of Project for Painting at
Riverview High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On July 17, 2007, the Board approved the amendment of agreements with Holmes Hepner and Associates Architects and The Morganti Group, Inc., the architect and construction manager of record for the classroom addition at Riverview High School, to include repainting of the exterior and interior of the school.

This change order provides credits for project savings, return of unused contingency funds, and final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. Included are additional costs for painting of lockers.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
