Recognition of School Attendance Incentive Program Award Winners, 2007/2008 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Eight years ago, Deputy Superintendent Beth Shields initiated an attendance incentive program for schools that meet or exceed the district goal of 96% attendance annually. This year, 47 schools will be recognized for their outstanding achievement in maintaining high attendance percentages for the 2007/2008 school year. Schools who met this goal will be awarded with either a flag (1st and 5th years) or a colored streamer for subsequent years. Schools achieving the highest percentage of attendance at the elementary, middle, and high school levels will be presented with the Beth Shields Attendance Recognition Award.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of all of our schools and students.
