SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $465,778.72 for Renovation at
Woodbridge Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Rodriguez + Architecture / AIA / PA and Christiano Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes replacement or refurbishment of interior finishes and hardware; power, lighting, and low-voltage system upgrades; mechanical and drainage system repairs, and exterior repairs; waterproofing and painting. The administration building will be remodeled and reconfigured.

This change order provides a credit for direct purchase of materials by the District, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
