SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $10,742.53 for Classrooms for Kids Addition at
Marshall Middle School (Painting Maintenance)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed John J. McKenna Architect P.A. and W.G. Mills, Inc. to provide design and construction management services for the classroom addition. On July 29, 2008, the Board approved the amendment of existing agreements to include interior painting throughout the facility and painting of exterior trim and canopies.

This change order provides a credit for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds associated with the painting project.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
