The Annual Employee Benefits Open Enrollment for 2009 began Wednesday, October 1, 2008, and ends Friday, October 10, 2008. There is one remaining Open Enrollment Meeting/Health Fair that employees may attend – Wednesday, October 8 at Tampa Bay Tech (Media Center), 4-7 p.m. While at this meeting, employees can discuss their benefits concerns with various product representatives and Employee Benefits staff members, have their elections entered online, take the Humana Health Risk Assessment online, participate in the Humana health fair, and even get their annual $5 flu shots (as supplies last and provided members bring their HCPS Humana ID cards). This year, employees can elect their benefits, online, in one of three ways:
- Call the Aon Call Center to have the elections entered.
- Go to the web site at www.sdhc.selfservicenow.com to enter elections.
- Attend one of the three Open Enrollment Meetings with Health Fairs to get all benefits questions answered and have elections entered.
For employees who would like to see and hear a video presentation summarizing the plan offerings, they may visit the district’s website homepage. This video, which can be viewed by family members as well, provides an additional means by which employees can learn about the benefits available to them for 2009.
In addition, a supply of materials has been produced in Spanish, and Spanish-speaking Univers enrollers will be available at the remaining Open Enrollment Meeting, Wednesday, October 8.
Demonstrate best financial practices.
No additional cost to the district; enrollment costs are included in the products' premium rates.
