On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed The Architectural Practice, Inc. and Mathews Construction to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for an additional 10 classrooms. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements.

Change Order No. 2 provides a 57 calendar day time extension to accommodate a change in chilled water piping requested by the District and unforeseen repairs to the existing chillers needed to support proper operation of the new addition's heating, ventilating, and cooling system. Change Order No. 3 provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 4 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 5 provides a credit for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds.
