Approve Acceptance of Project for HVAC Control System Replacement at
Knights Elementary School and Monroe Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Consulting Engineering Associates, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 20, 2008 the Board awarded the contract for construction to the sole bidder, Automated Building Control System, Inc. The scope of work provided for replacement of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) controls at Knights Elementary School and Monroe Middle School.

The engineer advises that the project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
