Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $49,648.97 Extra, including a 10 Calendar Day Time Extension, Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Amount of $33,465.31 Credit, and Acceptance of Project for Minor Renovations at
Egypt Lake Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Reliable Group Architects, LLC. On April 15, 2008, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Eveland Brothers, Inc.

Change Order No. 1 provides for modifications to flooring work required due to unforeseen conditions, and the addition of needed window replacements to the project. A ten day time extension is included for completion of the additional work. Change Order No. 2 provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
