Approve Standard Hall License Contract with the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Inc. for Use of the Carol Morsani Hall for the Elementary Fine Arts Festival on May 6, 2009 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the Standard Hall License Contract that has been developed with the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Inc. for the Elementary Fine Arts Festival scheduled to be held on May 6, 2009, in Carol Morsani Hall. The contract covers the costs associated with the rental of the hall, licenses for performing the selected music, ticket sales, production equipment, and crew associated with the event.
This annual event will involve over 700 student musicians and 250 student artists with an estimated audience of 2,200.

* Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds of $5,900 are included in the divisional general operating budget for Curriculum and Instruction, with the remaining $4,900 funded through ticket sales for a total contract cost of $10,800.
