Recognize Student Services Week and National School Counseling Week in Hillsborough County (Curriculum and Instruction/Student Services and Federal Programs Divisions)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The week of February 2-6, 2009, was declared "Student Services Week" and "National School Counseling Week" by the Florida Department of Education. During the month of February, principals and school district personnel recognized the positive work of these staff members which strengthens student learning and family/community involvement. This School Board recognition acknowledges the important role that guidance and career personnel, psychologists, social workers, diagnosticians, nurses, and health assistants play in the academic, social, emotional development and health of students in our school district.
