Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Credit Amount of $194,236.09 for Renovation at
Orange Grove Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Atelier AEC, Inc. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Walbridge Aldinger Co. The renovation of existing facilities provides for new finishes throughout the facility; restoration of wood flooring; replacement of lighting, interior stairs, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system; upgrades to intercom, data, and security systems; and improvements to toilet facilities to provide Americans with Disabilities (ADA) accessibility. Exterior work includes cleaning, repointing, and sealing of all brick work; a new cafeteria patio cover; and roof replacement for the classroom building, cafeteria and second story walkways.

This change order provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.
