EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 18, 2008, the Board appointed the engineering firm of Advanced Systems Engineering, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provides for replacement of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and controls that have exceeded or are reaching the end of their useful life. The scope also includes replacement of the fire alarm, intercom, and lighting systems throughout the campus. The project will improve the reliability of the HVAC system at the school and reduce energy consumption. Project completion is scheduled for March 2010.
Approval of the design development phase will allow the engineer to proceed with construction documents.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
The project is currently funded at $2,772,498. The estimate of probable cost is $2,520,453. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
