On December 12, 2006, the Board appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and HCBeck Ltd. to provide design and construction management services for the high school. The high school is located adjacent to Bailey Elementary (scheduled to open with the high school in August 2009) and a future middle school. A sanitary lift station and approximately four miles of off-site sanitary force main are needed to connect to the Hillsborough County Wastewater Treatment system and provide sanitary sewage service to the three schools. The off-site force main will be transferred to Hillsborough County at the conclusion of the project for operation and maintenance. Project completion is scheduled for August 1, 2009.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

Construction cost is warranted at $1,985,543. The construction budget is $1,985,543. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
