Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $16,781.70 and Acceptance of Project for a United Way Administrative Center at
Sulphur Springs Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services for relocatable and modular facilities. The scope of work provided for installation of a 2,160 square foot modular administration center for the United Way on the Sulphur Springs Elementary School campus.

This change order provides a credit for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
