Approve Time Extension of 117 Calendar Days, and Acceptance of Project for Softball Field Lighting at
Armwood High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Anston-Greenlees, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On April 24, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to M. Gay Constructors, Inc., the low bidder. The scope of work provided for demolition of existing lighting and installation of field lights for the softball field at Armwood High School.

Change Order No. 1 provides for a time extension of 117 calendar days, required by the District to avoid impacts to the concurrent construction of a classroom addition.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
